Environmental Management System, ISO14001

We are pleased to announce that in December 2004, Atkins China Limited was certified as an ISO14001 company by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency. The Atkins' Environmental Management System (EMS) was subsequently audited in June 2005 and found to comply with the requirements of ISO14001:2004 which makes Atkins the first ISO14001:2004 certified multidisciplinary design, engineering, environmental and project management consultancy company in Hong Kong*.

Atkins' environmental commitment is declared in our Environmental Policy Statement. Our EMS not only formalises our corporate commitment to the environment, through ensuring that we consider and control the environmental impacts of our operations and our projects, but also enhances the environmental awareness of our staff and helps us strive towards a more sustainable future.
